News-item:

The Kim 1.2.2-2 (stable) [ Update ] [ Details ]
Update by: - July 8, 2003

The Kim is an ncurses process manager for GNU/Linux which reads the /proc filesystem.

Changes: Initial announce.

Status: Unmaintained.

Homepage: http://home.zf.jcu.cz/~zakkr/kim/

Download: http://home.zf.jcu.cz/~zakkr/kim/download.php

Comments: The project hasn't been updated since January 2000. I emailed the author a few times in the last years. He doesn't seem to have the time or interest to maintain it anymore, which is sad, as it was and may still be the most fully featured CLI process manager for Linux. In my opinion a maintainer would have to port it to the latest libproc, fix the remaining bugs, if any, and see how it behaves with 2.5 kernels, as there were a number of changes for the new kernel series in recent procps. -- .
